How to Organize Kids' Toys by Age (Without the Tears)
Toy chaos is less about quantity and more about systems. Sort by age, label by picture, and rotate. Here is the method that survives a toddler.

Step 1: Sort by age, not type
Toddler toys, preschool and school-age each need their own zone. A 2-year-old does not need the Lego yet.
Step 2: Low bins win
Use picture-labeled bins ↗ at floor height. Kids put things away if the bin is obvious and reachable.
Step 3: Rotate
Keep half the toys in a storage bag ↗ in the closet. Swap monthly so old toys feel new.
Step 4: One in, one out
